Alief ISD leaders understand and value the importance of healthy employees and are proactive in making wellness a priority. We provide a comprehensive wellness program that provides onsite preventive screenings and access to free and reduced healthy lifestyles programs. Alief ISD encourages physical activity both during and after the work day - our million step challenges have changed us to a culture of movement. And walking is only part of the overall push for increased movement - employees can attend free classes at the local YMCA and are offered discounted citywide gym memberships.
