Alief ISD is pioneering innovative Pre-K education to prepare children for Kindergarten and beyond. I’m Kim Hammer, the Principal, and I bring extensive early childhood leadership experience. I believe in equity and the importance of family engagement in a child's success.

Jefferson offers a safe, high-quality education with a focus on interactive play and learning. Our center is organized into three Neighborhoods, each with unique Houses:

1. **Discovery Neighborhood**: Explores self and community (Space City, Gulf Coast, Healthy Me, International District).

2. **Inquiry Neighborhood**: Encourages curiosity about nature (Pet Vet, From Farm to Table, Digging Dino’s, Wild World).

3. **Voyages Neighborhood**: Focuses on science, technology, and work (Hidden Forces, Going Places, Tinker Town, Our Community).

We provide a child-centered, interactive learning environment with balanced literacy, hands-on math, and engaging projects. Our aim is to create a positive, nurturing community for children and families. We prepare students for the future by caring for them today. Join us!
